Does this course primarily focus on gemstones like quartz or moonstone or does it also cover “regular” stones you might find out on a walk or in your yard? I’m not sure if I’m asking that correctly but hopefully that makes sense. Thank you.

The class is wonderful for connecting with *any* stone, and includes multiple resources for going deeper with whichever mineral ally you’re working with. It can be helpful to identify the stones that are common to your place in order to learn more about them through characteristics like structure, composition, etc., but so much can still unfold through the course without having this more detailed information. That said, this info will also be helpful in knowing what kind of elixir is safe to make with your stone. (There is also a “safe side” option that will work with any stone).
To summarize, Asia really focuses on our own intuitive relationships with stones, and while she uses a few common crystals and minerals in some examples, the purpose is to be able to apply those same processes and perspectives to literally any stone.
